I am interested in using what I know about programming to create websites. Websites are capable of doing much more today than what they were able to do a decade ago. I enjoy exploring the complex design and application functionalities websites can accomplish and appreciate the logical and creative components that goes into making a website. Furthermore, I find it gratifying when people use my website because they are interacting with something I have created.
I started learning web development by exploring the many fields in programming. I never appreciated what went into making a website until I made one myself. I was able to get better in developing websites by trying to implement features and designs that were on other websites. I was able to take pieces that interested me from other websites I examined and tried to implement them on my websites.
Web development is more involved than most people tend to think. Through web development I have found myself researching topics on algorithms, data visualization, cryptography and many other interesting subjects. Web development alone has made me more curious to learn more about other subjects and has made me question how things function.
Growing up in an era where I am seeing technology develop rapidly, it is only natural that I want to take part in it as it evolves. Web development has allowed me to understand how technology functions. I hope to one day use the skills I obtain from programming and contribute to the development of technology.
